COPECRED was formed in 2011 by international communities, the Zambians living in Europe and many more as a result of the linking of the two schools, Chimwemwe children paradise school Kapata Chimwemwe Chipata Zambia and Churchstanton Community Primary School United kingdom Summerset under global schools partnership where issues affecting the children performance in class in these two rural setup locality were discussed and issues of climate change ,Poverty HIV Aids, Child Neglect came out strongly. Organisation was finally launched in CHIPATA Zambia by Eastern Province Minister on 31st, July 2012.
Support provided by our organisation includes water and sanitation, Peer youths education programmes, psychosocial, education school support to children such as orphans, child neglect and those who are who are held by the virtual of their mothers who are incarcerated or are in prisons (such as provision of schools fees and other requirements) and a locally arranged school feeding programme at our demo school, Social protection programmes for our women and youths groups as a way of empowering them.
We are also working with local chiefs and schools in promoting and implementing tree planting and climate change in line with our holistic approach to childhood Rights Education and Development programmes. Our children have the Right to have good Environment in which to live in.
Our future interests is to build or have a Safe Home by 2015 and a survival skills training centre by 2017
