I am a public health practitioner with in-depth experience in Health systems strengthening and HIV/AIDS. I worked with a not for profit organization Center for the Right to Health to develop and implement donor funded programs on sexual reproductive health, HIV/AIDS and health care delivery in urban and rural areas. Working with Heartland Alliance for Human Needs & Human Rights, I effectively managed a USAID funded program Integrated MSM HIV/AIDS Prevention Program (IMHIPP) to provide Men who have Sex with Men (MSM)with HIV prevention, care and support services. I have also worked as a consultant to document strategies to transform Nigeria’s health care system. As a Hubert H. Humphrey Fellow, I am focusing on Public Health Policy & Management, specifically on Health Systems Research to acquire skills and innovative solutions to improve health systems performance with the aim of improving public health in Nigeria. I am also interested in designing and implementing HIV programs targeted at injection drug users. My hobbies includes playing Badminton and kniting.
