The Centre for Peace and Reconciliation Studies (CPRS) is based at Coventry University and promotes research and learning which contribute to a deeper understanding of peace and reconciliation.
Founded in 1999, CPRS is a dynamic, secular, cosmopolitan centre reflecting contemporary international scholarship on the theories and practices of conflict transformation, peace-building, nonviolent politics, human security, faith–based and humanitarian aid, post-conflict reconstruction and related areas.
CPRS aims to address challenges and questions posed by conflict through teaching, research and consultancy work. We offer postgraduate courses:
MA in Peace and Reconciliation (campus-based, one year full-time or two years part-time);
Postgraduate Certificate in Conflict Resolution Skills (6 months including two-week residential summer school in Coventry and distance learning) which can be upgraded to MA in Peace and Reconciliation Studies (distance learning)after completion;
MA in Peacebuilding (online, one year full-time); and
All our staff are research active engaged in deepening the understanding of peace and conflict.
