Child to Child is a UK registered charity located at the Institute of Education, University College London which has been at the forefront of developing transformational approaches to children's participation worldwide. We train the world leading agencies such as UNICEF, Save the Children and WorldVision to deal with their most pressing needs.
Children have the right and the ability to play a central role in matters that concern them - from education, to health, to play and our vision is of a world where children are empowered to participate in the realisation of their rights. Our mission is to create spaces where children and young people are listened to and taken seriously in the exercise of their rights.
Our copyright free materials and approaches have spread to over 70 countries worldwide, in particular, Asia, Africa, The Middle East and Latin America and our materials are translated into over 35 languages. In addition to project and consultancy work, Child to Child is also a founding partner of the only international global forum on children's participation: Children as Actors for Transforming Society(CATS, designed and delivered in partnership with children and young people.
