I've been working for the past 3 years in radio journalism. I started in 2007 with a one month internship at Deutsche Welle Radio (DW) in Bonn at the portuguese redaction which has the lusophone African countries as aim. The experience was very enrichening and I decided to search for more opportunities to work in this area. In Portugal still in 2007 I started working at a cultural radio station based in Lisbon - Radio Europa Lisboa - which is an afiliate of Radio France International. In the mean time I had applyed for a 18 month working experience vacancy at Deutsche Welle and was successful.Since May 2008 I have been working at Deutsche Welle as a young professional. In November 2009 I will be finished with my working experience periode at DW. during the time I was at DW I had the opportunity to produce radio soap operas, give training to journalists from the protuguese speaking countries in Angola and I also acquiered basic knowledge of short news film making.
My interests are related to the region I have worked the most which is the lusophone Africa (culture, development, education, democracy, health, HIV)
