I stand to remain local or rural reporter and international communicator with a mixed experience in both print and electronic media. Worked as broadcasting journalist with Radio Tanzania (RTD) and Tanzania Broadcasting Coporation (TBC) for 17 years while corresponding with Deutsche Welle (DW), SPORE/CTA, New People, Africa News, ASP/AANA News Agency, ABN Feature Bulletin, The Dialogue Development, The Guardian, The Citizen Newspapers, Kiongozi, Founder Editor of Mama na Mtoto Magazine funded by UNICEF and Mugambi Newsletter. Administratively, I was appointed and selected to become the Social Communication Department Coordinator of the Catholic Diocese of Musoma and Coordinating Secretary of Lake Zone Information Team comprising Shinyanga, Kagera, Geita, Mwanza and Mara regions. I am the founder President of African Rural Press in Action (ARUPA) based in Dodoma for the past two decades, providing mentorship in media for young journalists and broadcasters, producing radio programmes and editing a number of online journals including TUPASHANE, Lawalawa, Ulimwengu wa Vijana and pages on social media and blogs. I am very much interested in reporting early childhood development, gender issues, human rights, good governance, rural livelihood development initiatives (poverty alleviation), youth development, Reporting development for People with Disability and vulnerable children and women as well as promoting youth and women economic groups, embarking in cultural research and exchange programmes. I am author of a number of manuscripts and published books.
