• Handling clients like all United Nations Offices and their subsidiaries like UNICEF, UNESCO, UNIFEM, UNDP, UNAMA, ISAF, USAID, NATO etc, JICA, European Union, SIDA, DFID, all countries Embassy, all the International NGO’s like CARE, Red Cross, Hope, Oxfam, Concern etc, Ministries Of Afghanistan and all International Banks. • Supervising and providing leadership to the Marketing & Communication Team and deliver an integrated approach to business in AINA , with a focus on marketing for all products and services, in line with AINA’s mission & commitments. • Working with all program teams in AINA to develop strong marketing strategies for all products with a focus on improved efficiency and measurable health impact. • Developing marketing plans, budgets and narratives related to all marketing interventions • Supporting and providing team leadership for the marketing & communication department through resource planning, work assignment, information exchange, and setting goals. • Creating the environment for staff training and coaching and develop realistic strategies for capacity building in the Marketing/ Communications Department. • Service all programs in AINA and collaborate closely with other departments to deliver high quality marketing and communication strategies for all products/ services. • Liasoning closely with research to ensure a solid evidence-base for all marketing/ communication strategies. • Liasoning closely with business/ sales departments and ensure coordination between marketing and sales strategies. • Identifying opportunities for business expansion and taking leadership in the development of relevant new strategies. • Maintaining a strong focus on cost effectiveness, productivity and high impact for all activities. • Leading on the identification of business cost pressures and presenting these to the Senior Management Team; addressing challenges and generating support of necessary stakeholders for implementing proposed solutions. • Act as an AINA’s marketing, business, sales and management resource, including in communications with partners/ stakeholders outside AINA. • Providing support to regional marketing campaigns and within the region through TA as requested. • Ensuring effective communication systems are in place between the Marketing & Communication Department and other departments within AINA (in Kabul and global). • Supervising all teams in the marketing and communication department (currently these include Brand Management/ Creative, Public Relations, Promotions and Inter-Personal- Communication). • Ensuring best use of all available skills in the marketing department and support staff with continuous development. • Working with HR and AINA’s Global Capacity Building department in Kabul and other stakeholders within or outside AINA to continuously develop skills on business including marketing and project management. • Helping to identify needs and opportunities for continuing education for members of the marketing & communication teams. • Performing any other related duties as may be required.
