● Past 5 years of advisory work with Oxfam America, assisting local actors worldwide with building and managing frameworks/systems for assessing the impacts of their development efforts on the lives of the poor. Focus on coaching and capacity-building of local stakeholders to collaboratively analyse and influence complex poverty & development issues based on evidence. ● Previous 10 years of research and consultancy work around performance measurement, evaluation and learning with international research institutes and governmental and non-governmental development and social integration agencies in the EU. ● Passionate about impact measurement and learning in collaborative settings, systems-thinking in impact measurement, and measurement of empowerment.
● Experience in the field of farmer-centred agricultural extension and innovation (LEISA in Indonesia, SRI in Cambodia & Vietnam, micro-insurance & extension performance measurement in Ethiopia); water access and natural resource development for small scale agricultural production and pastoralism (Ethiopia); indigenous people’s rural livelihoods rights in the face of extractive industries (Central America and Southeast Asia); gender-based violence and cross-cutting gender issues in agriculture (El Salvador, Indonesia, Ethiopia); access to health care, income, employment, school, housing and social services for migrants, nomads and people living in poverty in developed countries (Belgium, EU, US). ● Education and training in comparative cultural and social sciences, management, international relations and development studies.
