Dr. Hariyadi is an experienced biodiversity practitioner with specialization in wildlife conservation and management. He graduated with a PhD in Animal Bio medics from the Faculty of Veterinary Sciences Bogor Agriculture Institute (IPB), a Master of Science from the Faculty of Veterinary Sciences, Bogor Agriculture Institute (IPB), and he has a Bachelor degree in Biology (with minor in zoology) from University of Alberta, Canada.
Dr. Hariyadi has worked on various conservation, natural resource management, and environmental projects involving biodiversity assessments, social-economic studies, habitat management, and wildlife management. His expertise includes biodiversity monitoring and assessment, as well as the development of methods for assessing the environmental impacts on fauna. Dr. Hariyadi’s key project experience includes wildlife monitoring, biological survey, biodiversity assessments, and biodiversity research with focus on the interactions between fauna and their habitat. Dr. Hariyadi is also a member of Asian Rhino Specialist Group, an international species specialist group under IUCN, and is involved in developing several conservation policies. His experience in engaging with government officials (local and central governments) provided Dr. Hariyadi with a working knowledge for establishing working relation with various government agencies.
