I attend last UN Climate Change Conference COP 17 at Durban, South Africa in 2011 as an official youth delegate of the Bangladesh Government to represent young voices with the global leaders. I already established a very good relationship with Ministry of Environment and Forest and Climate Change unit of Bangladesh Government. My involvements with climate change was started from 2007 when he was went to Mongla, Cyclone Sider affected area with BBC Sanglap team as an Audience Recruitment Team (ART) member to bring the voices of the vulnerable people so that politicians and world would hear. Since then I participates and organized many national and international climate change events, wrote and interviewed on the fact, involved with national and international climate related organizations, engaged and inspired more people with climate movement. In 2010 I become an International Climate Champion of British Council and leading voluntary youth climate movement called Bangladesh Youth Movement for Climate (BYMC).
Beside that I am also a dedicated humanitarian worker working with Bangladesh Red Crescent Society (BDRCS) since 1995 when I was a student of class five. I run many relief operations, disaster management trainings, and awareness activities in and outside of his district. I led young volunteers of Noakhali Red Crescent unit and become the junior most youth leader in the country during his tenure as Youth Chief. Recently I become a Youth Commission member of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) for four years term and will advice on the matters that relate to young people and development of National Society youth sections to the governance of the IFRC.
My involvement with Media was started from graduation level when I was in charge of the media coverage for national debate competition in 2006. I walked to the media, create network and manage huge coverage of the competition in electronic and print media. In 2007 I joined BBC World Service Trust as a Part time employee in Bangladesh Sanglap and became fixed term staff at 2008 for BBC BUZZ. Beside my involvement with BBC he was attend many TV programme as a guest, wrote article on various issues at print and online news paper and assists TV programmes. I also helped BBC World Have Your Say team in Copenhagen and Montreal to run the show. I worked with FM Radio as well. As a Programme Coordinator of Pathshala South Asian Media Academy he has established professional media connections across the country.
I have interest on climate change, environment, humanitarian, youth and communication issues.
