I have over 20+ years of communication experience conducting health education for non-profit health societies and organizations. My expertise is developing and implementing communication strategies to achieve measurable objectives.
I am adept in communicating to target populations via:
Developing social marketing programs to develop strategies to influence positive behavior
Writing and editing articles, press releases and website pages
Conducting media health education campaigns to gain coverage in major US health media outlets
Translating technical language to layperson terms
I'm currently pursuing a master's of public health in Global Health, Communication, at The George Washington University. My interests lie in conducting behavior change communication for underserved global populations, particularly in SubSaharan Africa. Special interests also include child/maternal health, humanitarian emergencies, and infectious diseases.
