Currently I work at the Seed School of Maryland, this position has improved my ability to cope with many different tasks and provided me with various skill set. During this time, I have been able to coordinate three successful award ceremonies to honor the students for their academic achievements. I have also been able to implement gender based issue education sessions to educate the female students on proper hygiene, STD education, parent-child communication skills, and bullying.
In addition to working for the Seed School of Maryland, I volunteered with Black Girls Ignite Africa. At Black Girls Ignite Africa, I am the Global Mentorship and Event Coordinator, where I coordinate and implement the mentorship programs we have in the countries we currently serve in. They include Nigeria, United Arab of Emirate, Canada, Tanzania, Kenya and Ghana. Coordination of other team members, the ability to focus, prioritize, strategic planning of various projects in the organization and time constraints are all necessary aspects on my daily tasks also.
I am a creative team player with great presentation skills, a personal strength in analytical thinking, organization and problem solving. I believe my work experience and education will make me a great candidate for this position, I also believe this position will assist me in achieving my future goals.
