Presently working as Researcher and Evaluation Professional with UNESCO recognised national level volunatry organisation in India. Also presently pursuing a Course on “Bridiging the Research-Policy Divide", An AusAID ALA Fellowship Programme at Australian National University, Camberra, supported by AusAID and GECAFS-UK. The programme intends to develop the researcher’s capacity in policy research area to improve policy responses on climate change and enhancement of adaptive capacity of the food system through reducing its vulnerability. Have more than 12 years of working experience with Government, International and National Organisations like SIFPSA-Govt Agency, Oxfam Novib-Netherlands, Centre for Ecology and Hydrology of Natural Environmental Research Council-UK, GECAFS International Project Office-UK, Asia Pacific Network for Global Change Research-Japan, IIASA-Austria, DFID, WINROCK International-New Delhi, SEEDS-New Delhi, NWCF-Nepal, INTRAH / PRIME-II -New Delhi, etc. Work experience is related to major developmental issues like: Poverty Reduction, Food Security, Climatic Change and Adaptation, Disaster Risk Reduction, Sustainable Agriculture and Organic Farming, Local Self Governance Issues, Gender & Women Empowerment, Health Issues ( Like HIV / AIDS/ STIs, RCH ) and industrial issues like HRM, Legal & Labour Welfare Matters etc. The community-based institutions promoting livelihood enhancement have been major part of my career. I enjoy jobs & responsibilities like overall programme management, networking and policy advocacy, conduct researches and studies, monitoring and evaluation (both internal and external), documentation, writing articles and papers etc.
