This United States (US)-based initiative seeks to combat overpopulation by connecting condom use with efforts to save the planet. The condoms are accompanied by literature featuring what are intended to be catchy taglines, drawings, and a short paragraph about species extinction and human population. This collaboration aims to initiate and nurture dialogue between India's media at national, state, and district levels on the issue of routine immunisation (RI) in India. To add to the ongoing effort to provide a platform for the media participants to continue to write on the subject, a Media4Child blog was launched in November 2011. With the goal of making information about aid spending easier to access, use, and understand, IATI's standards-based approach is designed to enable donors to produce their data to a common format in a timely manner, so that all those publishing to IATI can produce data that users can compare with other data providers, mashing it up to create data sets they find useful.

The Women's Refugee Commission (WRC) is a resource and advocacy organisation working to identify problems that affect displaced women and children. They document best practices and propose solutions, and develop tools to improve the way humanitarian assistance is delivered in refugee settings.
WRC is conducting a survey to determine how they can improve their resources and better serve the international humanitarian community with regard to safe livelihoods and gender-based violence prevention. Click here to participate.

This brief examines strategies for the successful design of anti-corruption initiatives. One example provided is that of the Sri Lankan State Accounts Department introducing what was intended to be a more transparent approach to publication of financial statements, enabled by the internet. Ensuring the long-term presence of design consultants working alongside departmental staff was found to be key. [Mar. 2011]

This article examines the play "Amina is Looking for a Job", performed in Catalonia, Spain. The play uses Theatre of the Oppressed techniques to support audiences' examinations of discrimination at work and its relation to identity in a context of economic crisis and struggle for maintenance of cultural identities in a globalised world. This research article provides a discussion on the potential for Social Network Sites (SNS) as a paedagogical tool that precipitates 'incidental learning,' or the unintentional accrual of knowledge and practice of learning. SNS as educational resources, according to this paper, benefit the user and the online community as hosts "for dialogical exchange, applying media networking tools which are non-hierarchical, inclusive and fundamentally interactive...
